특히 신공항 사업 관련해서 “더 이상 원론적인 검토에 그쳐서는 안 된다”며 △국가사업으로 조속한 전환 △재정 지원 방안 마련 △구체적인 추진 일정 공개 등을 정부에 요구했다. 아울러 행정통합 등 주요 지역 현안에 대해서도 정부 차원의 종합적인 검토와 책임 있는 답변을 촉구했다.
전직 대통령 예우 복원 문제에 대해서도 언급했다. 추 의원은 이명박, 박근혜 전 대통령을 직접 거론하면서 “예우 복원은 국가의 품격과 국민 통합에 직결된 문제”라고 밝혔다.
이어 “이미 관련 대화 내용이 공개된 만큼 정부가 말이 아닌 행동으로 답해야 한다”며 공식 입장 발표를 거듭 요청했다.
마지막으로 추 의원은 “대구·경북 시도민들의 요구가 실질적인 정책으로 이어질 수 있도록 끝까지 책임 있게 챙기겠다”고 밝혔다.
