한국가스공사(사장 최연혜)는 지난 20일 대구경북지역본부에서 최연혜 사장을 비롯한 주요 경영진, 사업소장, 현장 직원 등이 참석한 가운데 ‘안전·청렴 실천결의대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 사업소 직원들의 자발적인 참여와 실천 의지를 높이기 위해 기존 본사 중심 행사 방식에서 벗어나 현장 중심으로 전환해 추진됐다. 이는 안전과 청렴 실천이 실제 업무 현장에서부터 시작돼야 한다는 취지로 마련됐다.
가스공사는 이날 결의대회를 시작으로 권역별 릴레이 행사를 이어갈 계획이다. 4월 남부권인 대구경북지역본부를 시작으로, 5월에는 수도권·중부권 인천기지본부, 6월에는 본사에서 최종 결의대회를 열 예정이다.
행사에서는 참가자들이 안전과 청렴을 주제로 현장의 핵심 가치를 직접 도출하는 참여형 프로그램 ‘안전·청렴 워드 클라우드’가 진행돼 눈길을 끌었다.
또한 사장과 협력사 대표, 근로자 대표가 함께 대형 현수막을 펼치는 개막 영상 퍼포먼스를 통해 노사와 협력사가 한마음으로 안전과 청렴 실천에 나서겠다는 의지를 대외적으로 선언했다.
가스공사는 이번 결의대회를 계기로 중대재해 근절과 청렴도 향상을 전사적 핵심 목표로 설정하고, 실천 중심의 조직문화를 확고히 정착시켜 나간다는 방침이다. 특히 협력사와의 상생 협력을 바탕으로 현장 안전관리 수준을 높이고 공정하고 투명한 조직문화 조성에 역량을 집중할 계획이다.
최연혜 사장은 “안전과 청렴은 조직의 지속가능성을 좌우하는 핵심 가치”라며 “현장에서부터 실천하는 문화가 자리 잡을 때 중대재해 없는 안전한 일터와 국민이 신뢰하는 공기업으로 도약할 수 있다”고 말했다. 이어 “앞으로도 현장 중심의 참여형 프로그램을 지속 확대해 실질적인 변화와 성과를 만들어 가겠다”고 강조했다.
