[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시는 21일 ‘2026년 1분기 시정 성과 우수공무원’ 표창 수여식을 개최하고, 시정 각 분야에서 우수한 성과를 창출한 공무원 4명을 선정해 표창했다.
이번에 선정된 우수공무원들은 시민 생활과 밀접한 현안 해결은 물론, 행정 효율성과 공공서비스 질 향상에 기여한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
특히 각자의 업무 분야에서 창의적이고 적극적인 자세로 성과를 창출하며 ‘일하는 조직’ 분위기 조성에 기여했다는 점이 돋보였다.
시는 분기별 성과 우수공무원 선발을 통해 성과 중심의 공직문화를 정착시키고, 우수사례를 조직 전반에 확산해 행정 경쟁력을 지속적으로 강화해 나갈 방침이다.
이날 표창 수여식에서는 시장 표창과 함께 트로피를 수여하고, 포상금 및 해외테마연수 가점 등 다양한 인센티브를 제공해 수상자의 사기 진작과 동기 부여를 도모했다.
변광용 시장은 “묵묵히 맡은 바 역할을 수행하며 성과를 만들어낸 공직자 여러분께 감사드린다.”며 “앞으로도 시민이 체감할 수 있는 성과 창출을 통해 신뢰받는 행정을 구현해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
