이날 본회의에 앞서 5분 자유발언을 통해 임주희 의원은 자원순환종합타운(포항에코빌리지) 부지 선정의 시급성에 대해 강조했고, 김만호 의원은 보존산지와 산림보호구역 해제를 전제로 추진하고 있는 골프장 확장개발 계획의 문제점에 대해 지적했다.
시의회는 이번 정례회에서 2024년 예산안 및 2023년 제4회 추가경정예산안 심의, 시정질문, ‘포항시의회 직장 내 괴롭힘 예방 및 금지에 관한 조례안’ 등 27건의 안건을 심의했다.
