브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜가 오는 18일까지 충남 금산군 한국아카데미하우스에서 초중〮학생 임직원 자녀 대상 ‘2024 아카데미하우스 과학캠프’를 개최한다.
이번 캠프는 한국앤컴퍼니그룹 소속 자회사 및 협력사 임직원 자녀 100여 명을 대상으로 창의적인 사고력 키우기를 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
참가 학생들은 2박 3일 캠프 기간 동안 다양한 체험 프로그램과 진로 멘토링을 통해 과학기술에 대해 흥미와 이해를 높이고, 진로에 대한 생각을 구체화할 수 있는 자기 탐색의 시간을 갖게 된다.
특히, 4차 산업혁명 시대에 맞춰 ‘MBTI 성격유형검사’, ‘발전된 AI로 미래 도시구상’, ‘스마트시트 만들기’, ‘AI 인공지능 휴지통 만들기’ 등 AI(인공지능) 관련 교육을 포함해 아이들이 재미있고 자연스럽게 디지털 역량을 개발할 수 있는 프로그램이 진행될 예정이다. ‘물로켓 만들기’, ‘드론 및 3D체험’ 등 아이들의 창의력과 상상력을 자극하는 창작물 구현 활동도 준비됐다.
또한, 카이스트(KAIST, 한국과학기술원) 재학생 멘토가 직접 진행하는 멘토링 프로그램도 시행된다. 아이들은 과학 기술 분야의 생생한 현장 스토리를 들을 수 있는 것은 물론, 평소에 가지고 있던 학습과 진로에 대한 고민을 자유롭게 나누며 미래 진로 결정 및 학교생활에 대해 유익한 정보를 얻는 시간을 보낼 것으로 기대된다.
