(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 오는 3월 1일 부천시민회관의 보수공사를 마치고 운영을 시작한다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 1988년 준공돼 2023년까지 약 35년간 사용된 부천시민회관은 노후로 인한 화장실 악취, 로비 타일 탈락, 옥상 누수 등 여러 문제가 제기된 곳이다.
이에 부천시는 국비 등 총 12억1,000만 원을 들여 지난해 10월 착공해 올해 2월 보수공사를 완료했다.
1·2층 화장실은 리모델링을 통해 쾌적한 환경을 조성하고 시민 편의를 높였다.
또, 타일 등이 탈락해 발생할 수 있는 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 1층 로비 타일을 교체했다.
새롭게 단장한 부천시민회관에서는 오는 3월 2일 ‘뮤지컬 번개맨’을 시작으로 3월 9일 ‘김창완 밴드 콘서트’까지 다양한 공연들이 펼쳐질 예정이다.
