[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 9일 ‘중고로봇 재제조 로봇리퍼브센터 기반구축사업’ 착수보고회를 시작으로 본격적인 공사에 들어간다.
이번 착수보고회는 작년 11월에 마무리한 설계 용역을 바탕으로 올해 3월 말 시공, 감리 업체가 선정됨에 따라 한국로봇사용자협회, 경남테크노파크, 김해의생명산업진흥원, 경남로봇산업협회와 시공 업체 등 관계기관이 한자리에 모여 공사추진 계획과 주요 검토사항을 공유하고 사업에 대한 의견을 수렴하기 위해 마련됐다.
중고로봇 재제조 로봇리퍼브센터에는 시비 78억원을 투입하여 김해시 진례면 고모리 1568-4번지(김해테크노밸리일반산업단지 내)에 지상 3층, 연면적 2,033㎡로 건립된다.
시는 이곳에 리퍼브를 위한 공용장비실, 로봇 전시를 위한 홍보관, 관련 기업을 위한 사무실·회의실 등을 구축할 예정이며 이번 착수보고회를 시작으로 공사를 착공하여 25년 4월에 준공할 예정이다.
센터 운영에는 143억원(국 100 도 12 시 28 민 3)이 투입되어 성능분석·검증장비 구축, 기반서비스플랫폼 구축, 기업지원(기술 자문, 선행기술 개발), 로봇기업 네트워킹 등이 진행되어 로봇 리퍼브를 넘어 로봇 분야의 종합적인 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.
중고로봇 재제조 로봇리퍼브센터 기반구축 사업은 올해 3년차 사업으로 작년까지 △ 리퍼브 장비 2종(포터블) 구축, △ 기반 서비스 플랫폼 구축(1단계), △ 기술지도 18건, △ 선행기술개발 지원 12건, △ 관계기관 네트워크 및 기술세미나 개최 10건 등을 달성했다.
중고로봇 재제조 로봇리퍼브센터 기반구축 사업으로 김해시 관내에 첨단로봇 재자원화 생태계 조성, 로봇산업 산·학·연의 체인 형성으로 관련 기술우위 선점 및 고용 창출 등의 효과를 기대하고 있다.
김해시 관계자는 “재자원화는 지속 가능한 순환경제 활성화를 위해 선택이 아닌 필수”라며 “중고로봇 재제조 로봇리퍼브센터가 국내 로봇 리퍼브 시장의 선두주자로 자리매김하고 우리시 전략산업인 지능형로봇 산업의 구심점이 될 수 있도록 사업 추진에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
한편 김해시는 지능형로봇 산업육성을 위해 제조로봇 적용 뿌리산업 공정개발 지원사업을 진행하고 있으며 작년 한 해에 5억원을 투입하여 관내 9개 기업에 로봇 보급, 공정연구 개발을 지원하는 등 로봇 산업 육성을 위해 힘쓰고 있다.
