4월 11일부터 14일까지 4일간 부산 벡스코 제1전시장에서 개최 국내외 150개 갤러리가 참가하는 2024BAMA 제13회 부산국제화랑아트페어에 김아름과 아세움 작가가 참여한다.
부산국제화랑아트페어측은 보도자료에서 “이번 행사는 150개 갤러리가 참가해 약 4,000여점의 작품을 선보이고 있다. BAMA 메인 키워드는 '동아시아' 및 '작가발굴'로 기존의 서구 중심의 미술 시장에서 벗어나 현재 동아시아 작가들에게 많은 관심이 집중되고 있다”면서 “BAMA에서 이러한 동향에 맞추어 동아시아 특별전인 'Based on East Asia-Special Exhibition of Eastern Asia Artists'을 기획, 보다 다양하고 새로운 문화 예술 트렌드를 선보인다”고 알렸다.
일본, 대만, 중국 등의 동아시아 갤러리를 비롯해 미국, 프랑스, 독일 등 총 16개의 해외 갤러리가 참가한다.
부산국제화랑아트페어ᄎᅠᆨ은 “BAMA에는 25년의 전통 있는 부산의 갤러리 미광에서 김성철 작가를 포함 아세움(박교은),김아름 작가의 신작을 출품한다. 아세움과 김아름은 파리와 스페인 ,벨기에 아트페어와 최근 ST 공모전에서 심사위원장 상등을 수상하면서 주목을 받았고, 현재 4인의 미술평론가가 선정하는 40인 작가전에 각각 추천 받으며 그 작품성과 독창성을 인정 받았다”고 덧붙였다.

김종근 미술평론가는 김아름은 “케익 위에 올려진 소녀들의 불안한 감성을 독특한 구성과 컨셉으로 보는 이의 시선을 매력적으로 훔쳐가고 있다”고 평가했다. 아세움의 작품에 대하여는 “ 초현실적인 이상향과 화분속의 선인장으로 고양이의 표정을 통하여 현대인의 감정을 메타포적 기법으로 유혹한다”고 평했다.
이들은 곧 갤러리 필랩에서 파리 우크라이나 일본 등 국제적인 작가들과 <8명의 다른 시선> 전시에도 참여한다.

Artists Areum Kim and Aseum will participate in the 13th Busan International Gallery Art Fair, 2024BAMA, held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Busan for four days from April 11th to 14th, with 150 galleries from home and abroad participating.

The Busan International Gallery Art Fair said in a press release, “150 galleries are participating in this event, showcasing approximately 4,000 works, and BAMA’s main keywords are ‘East Asia’ and ‘artist discovery,’ breaking away from the existing Western-centered art market and focusing on the current East Asian art market. “A lot of attention is being focused on artists,” he said. “In line with this trend, BAMA is planning a special exhibition on East Asia, ‘Based on East Asia-Special Exhibition of Eastern Asia Artists,’ to showcase more diverse and new cultural and artistic trends.”

The Busan International Gallery Art Fair said, “At BAMA, Gallery Mikwang in Busan, which has a 25-year tradition, will exhibit new works by artists Seongcheol Kim, Aseum (Kyo-eun Park), and Areum Kim.
