[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시가 양방향 소통을 위한 시민정책제안 코너를 신설·운영한 결과 2월 13일부터 2개월간 총 17건의 정책이 제안됐으며 600여명이 참여한 것으로 나타났다.
시는 시민들의 목소리를 시정의 운영방향을 결정하는 정책 설정단계에서부터 반영하기 위해 올해 1월부터 김해시 누리집에 시민정책제안 코너를 신설·운영하고 있다.
이는 홍태용 시장이 민선8기 시정의 기본철학을 시민과의 소통에 두고 행정 전방위에 걸친 소통을 강조한 결과로 시민들이 직접 정책을 제안하고 제안한 정책을 온라인에서 실시간으로 토론하는 양방향 소통공간을 마련한 것이다.
시는 보다 많은 시민들이 참여할 수 있도록 시민들이 제안한 정책을 공식SNS 채널 등에 소개해 시민의견을 폭넓게 수용하고 김해시보 내 시민정책제안 게시판 바로가기 QR 코드를 게시하는 등 시민정책제안 코너를 적극적으로 홍보해나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.
정용환 소통공보관은 “시민들이 꿈꾸는 김해시를 만들어나가기 위해 김해시에 필요한 정책을 제안해주시길 바란다”며 “언제 어디서나 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 온라인 정책제안 공간인 시민정책제안을 적극 활용해달라”고 말했다.
