알 수 없는 이유로 아침에 올린 글이 증발했다. 댓글까지 달은 사람들은 어쩌라고. 그래서 다시!
오늘아침, 나는 또 비행기를 만든다. 어느 곳에 선가 낙하산을 만드는 친구가 있겠지^^ 나는 끊임없이 비행기를 발명하며 살았다. 그러나 내가 만든 비행기는 활주로를 달리다가 서 버리는 적도 있었고 자동차처럼 활주로를 달려 나가 모래뿐인 사막 위를 미친 낙타처럼 횡행한 적도 있었다.
때때로 내가 만든 비행기는 겨우 이륙했다가 바다에 추락하기도 했고 낙하산을 펴기에도 어려운 높이로 떠오르다 추락이라고 하기에도 애매한 불시착을 한 적도 있다.
그럴 때 마다 진짜 비행기를 만들어 하늘에 띄워버린 라이트형제를 생각한다. 얼마나 두려운 밤을 보냈을까? 그 공포스런 중력과 싸워 이기기 위해 서로의 어깨를 움켜쥐며 얼마나 떨었을까? 나는 그 형제들과 때때로 만난다.
"너 웃긴다 야^^"
"미쳤구나!"
"마누라가 고생이다!"
"크리에이터가 맞긴 하지"
이런 말을 들을 때다. 내가 그 "용감한 형제들"을 만날 때마다 듣는 웃음소리가 나를 다시 깨어나게 한다. 그 웃음 끝에 그들의 조크가 실려 있기 때문이다.
