동국대 WISE캠퍼스 사회과학대학원 사회심리상담학과 워크숍 개최

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 사회과학대학원(원장 강현숙) 사회심리상담학과는 지난 18일 교내 백주년기념관에서 ‘2024년 사회심리상담 워크숍’을 개최했다고 22일 밝혔다.

이번 워크숍은 ‘중독, 제대로 알면 이길 수 있다’을 주제로 동국대 사회과학대학원 사회심리상담학과 교수, 졸업생과 재학생 등 50여명이 참석했다.

워크숍에서는 본 행사 주제와 관련된 분야에서 활동 중인 전문가들을 초청하여 ▲중독 ▲도박중독의 치료적 개입(류수정 경북도박문제예방치유센터 센터장), ▲알코올, 약물중독의 치료적 개입(심석, 경북도박문제예방치유센터 치유재활상담사) 등의 발표를 진행했다.

이미숙 동국대 사회과학대학원 사회심리상담학과 교수는 “최근 도박이나 약물중독 문제가 저연령화되고 있어 그 심각성이 더욱 가중되고 있다며, 이에 사회심리상담학과 재학생과 졸업생들이 함께 자리해 중독의 위험에 처해있는 사람들에게 실질적으로 도움을 줄 수 있는 개입 방법을 익히고 예방책을 논의하는 뜻깊은 자리였고 앞으로도 지역사회에 기여할 수 있는 워크숍을 확대해 나갈 예정이다”고 밝혔다.

동국대 사회과학대학원 사회심리상담학과는 2016년 3월에 개설돼, 경주, 포항, 울산 지역 사회심리상담 분야 전문가를 배출하고 있다.

At the workshop, experts active in fields related to the theme of this event were invited to discuss ▲addiction ▲therapeutic intervention for gambling addiction (Ryu Su-jeong, director of the Gyeongbuk Gambling Problem Prevention and Healing Center), ▲therapeutic intervention for alcohol and drug addiction (Seok Shim, Gyeongbuk Gambling) A presentation was made by a Healing and Rehabilitation Counselor at the Problem Prevention and Healing Center.

Lee Mi-sook, a professor at the Department of Social Psychological Counseling at the Graduate School of Social Sciences at Dongguk University, said, “Recently, the problem of gambling and drug addiction is becoming more serious as the younger age group grows. Accordingly, students and graduates of the Department of Social Psychological Counseling are gathered together to help people at risk of addiction.” “It was a meaningful opportunity to learn intervention methods that can actually help people and discuss preventive measures, and we plan to continue to expand workshops that can contribute to the local community.”

The Department of Social Psychological Counseling at Dongguk University Graduate School of Social Sciences was established in March 2016 and is producing experts in the field of social psychological counseling in Gyeongju, Pohang, and Ulsan.
