[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 친환경 벼 재배단지 24개소, 250ha 면적에 왕우렁이 13t을 지원했다고 25일 밝혔다.

우렁이 재배 농법은 제초제를 사용하지 않는 친환경 재배 농법으로 우렁이가 물속에서 자라는 잡초의 새싹을 갉아 먹어 논 잡초 제거에 효과적이다.

우렁이로 잡초를 제거하게 되면 제초제를 사용하지 않으므로 땅심을 기를 수 있고 노동력도 줄일 수 있어 더운 여름에 농업인의 고생을 덜 수 있다.
