【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국수력원자력(사장 황주호, 이하 한수원)은 25일 경주 힐튼호텔에서 원전 산업계 간 엔지니어링 정보 공유와 의견 교환 등 소통과 신뢰 강화를 위한 ‘원전 엔지니어링 협의체’를 발족했다고 밝혔다.

협의체에는 한수원을 비롯해 설계, 제작, 정비, 가동중검사 등 4대 분야 40개 협력사가 참여해 앞으로 엔지니어링 관련 주요 업무 방향성을 공유하고, 공동 대응 안건에 대해 함께 논의할 예정이다.
이날 참석자들은 ?원전 산업계 미래를 위한 신뢰 강화'를 주제로 ?위대한 기업으로 성장.도약을 위한 역할 및 방안', ?원전 산업계의 건전하고 공정한 관계 형성' 등에 대해 논의했다.
또, ‘Work Safe, Work Together!’ 슬로건 아래 산업안전보건 캠페인을 펼치며 산업안전을 위해 함께 노력할 것을 다짐했다.
황주호 한수원 사장은 “소통과 신뢰 강화 및 엔지니어링 기반으로 한 원전 생태계 상생발전으로 우리 원전 산업계의 경쟁력이 더욱 높아지길 기대한다”면서, “협의체를 통해 논의된 내용들을 바탕으로 초격차 원자력 경쟁력을 갖추고, 나아가 모든 기업들이원전 산업계의 위대한 기업(Good to Great)으로 도약할 수 있도록 다 같이 힘을 모으자”라고 밝혔다.
한편, 한수원은 지난해 12월 선진 운영체계인 엔지니어링 체계로 전환하고 원전 안전성과 효율성을 높이기 위해 노력하고 있다.
