[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 27일 홍태용 시장 주재로, 김해종합운동장 리셉션장에서 45일 앞으로 다가온 2024년 제105회 전국체육대회와 제44회 전국장애인체육대회의 5차 준비상황보고회를 개최했다.
보고회는 김해시와 김해교육지원청, 김해중·서부경찰서, 김해동·서부소방서, 김해시체육회, 김해시장애인체육회 관계자 등 80여 명이 참석했다.
참석자들은 이번 전국체전을 시민과 함께 만드는 체전으로 치르기 위해 ▲경기장 조성 ▲시민안전 관리대책 ▲교통·주차대책 ▲숙박시설·방역위생 점검 ▲시민참여 및 자원봉사 ▲주변 환경정비 등 전국체전 준비사항 전반을 다뤘다.
제105회 전국체육대회는, 올해 10월 11~17일 주 개최지인 김해시를 중심으로, 경남 18개 시·군, 75개 경기장에서 49개 종목으로, 제44회 전국장애인체육대회는 10월 25~30일 12개 시·군, 37개 경기장에서 31개 종목으로 개최된다.
김해시는 이번 양대 체전과 함께 한·일·중 3국 동아시아 문화도시 행사를 한 해 동안 개최하는 등 메가이벤트를 연계해서 문화와 스포츠가 어우러진 대축제로 준비하고 있다.
체전이 열리는 10월 김해 대표 축제인 가야문화축제와 김해문화유산 야행뿐 아니라 동아시아 문화도시 폐막행사, 경남무형유산축제, 김해꽃축제, 대한민국 예술축전 등이 열려 문화체전으로 한층 품격을 더한다.
