군포의왕교육지원청, 군포의왕 인성교육 학생지원단 워크숍 개최

군포의왕교육지원청(교육장 성정현)이 을 대상으로 지난 9월 3일 청백리홀에서 소통과 공감의 인성친화적 학교문화 조성을 위한 군포의왕 인성교육 학생지원단 워크숍을 개최했다.

이번 행사는 관내 초·중·고 대표 학생으로 구성된 군포의왕 인성교육 학생지원단이 주도적으로 인성교육 관련 학생자치활동을 학교에서 활발하게 펼쳐나가도록 하기 위해 리더십 함양 및 회의 진행법 연수 등 학생지원단 역량 강화를 목표로 기획됐다.

워크숍은 공감과 경청을 통한 대화의 기술 및 참여와 소통의 리더십 함양, 학생자치회의 운영을 위한 퍼실리테이터 실습, 학생자치회 주관 교육활동 보호 인식개선을 위한 방안 모색 등을 내용으로 진행됐다.

학생들은 위크숍을 통해 좋은 리더의 역할에 대해 알아보고, 인성을 주제로 하는 학생자치회의를 학교에서 바로 적용할 수 있는 회의 진행 방법, 소통 촉진자로서의 역할 등을 배우는 시간을 가졌다. 교육활동 보호 및 학교폭력 예방에 관한 의견도 나누었다.

워크숍에 참가한 한 학생은 소감으로 “학생회장으로서의 역할과 책임에 대해서 고민할 수 있는 좋은 시간이었다”며, “평화로운 학교문화를 만들기 위해 학교로 돌아가 오늘 배운 것을 잘 활용해 인성교육에 대해 함께 논의할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

성정현 교육장은 “워크숍에 참석한 인성교육 학생지원단의 열정과 관심이 학교 현장에서 결실을 맺을 수 있도록 응원하겠다”며, “인성친화적인 학교문화 조성으로 기본 인성과 기초 실력을 갖춘 우리 군포의왕의 학생들이 될 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Strengthening Student Support Group Capacity through Leadership Development and Meeting Management Training

Gunpo Uiwang Office of Education (Superintendent Seong Jeong-hyeon) held the Gunpo Uiwang Character Education Student Support Group Workshop on September 3rd at Cheongbaek-ri Hall to foster a character-friendly school culture of communication and empathy.

This event was planned with the goal of strengthening the student support group capacity through leadership development and meeting management training so that Gunpo Uiwang Character Education Student Support Group, which consists of representative students from elementary, middle, and high schools in the district, can actively carry out student self-governing activities related to character education at school.

The workshop included topics such as fostering conversation skills through empathy and listening, facilitating participation and communication, facilitating practice for operating student self-governing councils, and seeking ways to improve awareness of protecting educational activities led by student self-governing councils. Through the workshop, students learned about the role of a good leader, how to conduct meetings that can be applied directly to the school through the student council on character, and the role of a communication facilitator. They also shared their opinions on protecting educational activities and preventing school violence.

One student who participated in the workshop said, “It was a good time to think about my role and responsibilities as a student council president,” and “I will try to return to school and use what I learned today to discuss character education together in order to create a peaceful school culture.”
