광명시, 도시재생 전략계획 변경 주민공청회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광명 이현준기자] 광명시가 ‘도시재생 전략계획 변경(안)’에 대한 주민공청회를 개최했다.

지난 11일 소하2동 행정복지센터에서 지역 주민과 도시재생 전문가가 참석한 가운데 발표한 광명시 도시재생전략계획 변경(안)은 정부의 도시재생 정책과 급속히 변하는 지역 여건을 반영해 광명과 철산에 집중된 도시재생사업을 소하동까지 확대하고, 기존 전략계획 목표에 탄소중립형 주거환경정비, 범죄예방 안전 도시 조성, 재난·재해 방재시설 등 추가 보완하는 내용이 담겼다.

시는 지난 6월 도시재생전략계획 변경(안)에 대한 시의회 의견 청취를 마쳤고, 이번 공청회에서 제시된 주민과 전문가의 의견을 검토해 10월 중 경기도에 전략계획 변경(안) 승인을 신청할 계획이다.

김남숙 도시재생과장은 “이번 공청회에 나온 의견을 적극 수렴해 주민과 함께 광명시형 상생의 도시재생사업을 추진할 것”이라며 “국가 도시재생 공모사업 선정에 기틀을 마련해 지역 주민에게 수혜가 갈 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
