[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시의 처인구 원삼면 ‘용인 반도체클러스터’의 공공폐수처리시설 기본계획(변경)이 확정됐다.
15일 시에 따르면 공공폐수처리시설은 SK하이닉스가 122조원을 투자하는 ‘용인 반도체클러스터’의 핵심시설중 하나다.
환경부 산하 한강유역환경청은 9월 27일 ‘용인 반도체클러스터’의 폐수처리시설 기본계획(변경)을 최종 승인·고시했다.
시는 앞서 폐수처리시설 수요가 증가하는 것을 고려해 한강유역환경청과 협의를 진행했다.이 결과 당초 계획한 하루 1만톤에서 확대된 2만톤의 폐수처리가 가능하도록 승인받았다.
기본계획(변경)이 확정에 따라 총 사입비는 660억원에서 1,015억원으로 늘어나며, 환경부로부터받는 국비지원금도 당초 186억원에서 345억원으로 증가하게 된다. 나머지 사업비는 사업자인SK하이닉스가 부담한다.
‘용인 반도체클러스터’ 내 공공폐수처리시설은 처인구 원삼면 죽능리 산15번지 일원 약 3만2107㎡ 규모로 조성되며, 하루 평균 약 2만톤의 오폐수를 처리할 수 있다.
이 공공폐수처리시설은 ‘용인 반도체클러스터’ 내 협력화 단지와 가스공급설비 단지 등에서 발생하는 오폐수를 처리한다. SK하이닉스의 반도체 생산시설에서 발생하는 오·폐수는 자체 시설을 통해 별도로 처리한다.
오폐수는 전처리 과정을 통해 큰 부유물을 먼저 제거한 뒤 공공폐수처리시설로 유입된다.이후 1차부터 3차까지 생물학적 고도 처리 공정을 통해 법적 수질기준인 BOD(생화학적산소요구량) 10ppm 이하, TOC(총유기탄소) 15ppm 이하보다 강화된 BOD 5ppm(연평균3ppm), TOC 5ppm 이하로 처리해 방류할 계획이다.
