[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥시 이현준기자] 시흥시는 강희맹 탄신 600주년 기념문화제와 제32회 연성문화제를 개최한다.
시흥 연꽃테마파크에서 시흥시가 주최하고 시흥문화원이 주관하는 문화제가 10월 18일부터 20일까지 사흘간 열린다.
1989년부터 매년 열리고 있는 연성문화제는 올해 강희맹 탄신 600주년을 맞아, 시흥시에 연을 전파한 강희맹 선생의 생애와 업적을 재조명하고자 기념문화제를 하루 확대 편성해 개최한다. 시민들에게는 다양한 체험 부스 활동과 문화예술을 누릴 기회를 제공한다.
축제 첫날인 18일에는 강희맹 사신단 행렬과 함께 개막식이 열리며, 개막 특별공연으로는 중국 양저우시 화운예술단 초청공연과 가수 안성훈, 유채영의 공연이 펼쳐진다. 둘째 날인 19일에는 한복 패션쇼와 시흥전통문화예술 동아리 공연(도담 댄스, 경기민요, 가야금, 또바기 사물놀이 등), 축하공연(시립전통예술단, 오정해)이 이어진다. 셋째 날인 20일에는 시흥문화한마당 공연(판소리, 서도민요, 열린무용단, 오카리나 등)과 폐막공연(경기민요, 시흥윈드오케스트라)으로 축제의 막을 내린다.
