제천시의회, 65세 이상 대상포진 접종지원 조례안 발의

현재 60세 이상 기초생활수급자에게만 지원되는 대상포진 예방접종이 개정안을 통해 제천에 1년 이상 주민등록을 두고 거주하는 65세 이상 시민으로 확대될 예정이다.

다만, 2024년 7월 기준 2029년까지 65세 이상 일반시민은 약 4만 7천여명으로 예상됨에 따라 연차별로 단계적 연령확대 시행을 부칙으로 담아 예산부담을 줄이고, 보건복지부 협의에 따라 일반시민은 예방접종비 일부를 부담하게 된다.
