SPC 배스킨라빈스는 전국 가맹점에서 뛰어난 역량과 고객 서비스 정신을 발휘한 아르바이트생을 분기마다 ‘스쿱 마스터(Scoop Master)’로 선정하고 포상금을 지급하는 제도를 새롭게 도입했다고 11월 1일 밝혔다.
스쿱 마스터 1호는 동탄푸른마을점 매장의 아르바이트생 김경민 매니저가 뽑혔다.
지난 10월 초 배스킨라빈스 동탄푸른마을점을 운영하는 가맹점주는 김경민 매니저가 스쿠핑(Scooping, 아이스크림을 퍼 담는 것) 실력이 뛰어날 뿐 아니라 성실하고 친절한 태도로 고객들에게 칭찬을 많이 받고 있다는 미담을 가맹본부에 알렸다.
SPC 배스킨라빈스는 가맹점주의 제안을 접수, 김경민 매니저에게 포상을 했다. 또한 이를 계기로 지속적으로 우수한 아르바이트 직원들을 선발해 격려할 수 있도록 ‘스쿱 마스터’ 제도를 도입하기로 했다.
첫 번째 ‘스쿱 마스터’로 선정된 김경민 매니저는 배스킨라빈스 매장에서 2년간 근무하면서 익힌 ‘세로담기’ 노하우와 스쿠핑 기술로 최근 SBS ‘생활의 달인’ 프로그램에 ‘스쿠핑 달인’으로 소개되기도 한 실력자다.
‘세로담기’는 고객이 선택한 여러 가지 아이스크림 맛이 섞이지 않으면서 다양한 색상과 비주얼이 한눈에 보이도록 포장 컵에 담는 방법으로 배스킨라빈스 매장 직원들 사이에서 고급 기술로 평가받는다.
김 매니저는 평소 고객에게 맛보기 서비스를 권하거나 취향에 따라 추천 메뉴를 안내하는 등 고객 맞춤형 서비스와 따뜻한 소통으로 매장을 찾는 이들에게 긍정적인 인상을 남겼다는 칭찬이 줄을 이었다.
배스킨라빈스는 김경민 매니저를 ‘1대 스쿱 마스터’로 선정하고, 수상자와 가맹점주에게 상금을 전달했다. 앞으로 분기마다 업무역량과 서비스, 스쿠핑 기술을 기준으로 우수한 아르바이트 직원을 선정해 포상할 계획이다.

SPC Baskin-Robbins is launching a new 'Scoop Master' program.
SPC Baskin-Robbins announced on November 1 that it has introduced a new system to select and reward part-time employees who demonstrate outstanding competence and customer service spirit at franchise stores nationwide as “Scoop Masters” every quarter.
The first Scoop Master was Kim Kyung-min, a part-time manager at the Dongtan Blue Village store.
In early October, the franchisor of the Baskin Robbins Dongtan Blue Village store informed the franchisee that Kim was not only excellent at scooping ice cream, but also received many compliments from customers for her sincere and friendly demeanor.
SPC Baskin-Robbins accepted the franchisor's suggestion and rewarded Manager Kim Kyung-min. SPC Baskin-Robbins also decided to introduce the “Scoop Master” program to encourage part-time employees who are consistently outstanding.
The first 'Scoop Master' was Kim Kyung-min, who has been working at Baskin-Robbins for two years and was recently introduced as a 'scooping master' on SBS's 'Master of Life' program for her scooping skills.
'Vertical stacking' is considered an advanced technique among Baskin-Robbins store employees, as it is a way to put the different flavors of ice cream that a customer chooses into a packaging cup so that the different colors and visuals can be seen at a glance without mixing.
Kim has received numerous compliments on her personalized service and warm interactions with customers, such as offering them tastings and making recommendations based on their preferences.
Baskin-Robbins named Kim the “1st Scoop Master” and presented the winner and the franchisee with a cash prize. The company plans to recognize outstanding part-time employees every quarter based on their performance, service, and scooping skills.
