세종시교육청은 12일 세종시교육청 3층 상황실에서 6개의 국책연구기관과 ‘기관 연계 늘봄프로그램 운영’을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
이날 협약식에는 최교진 세종시교육감, 이영 한국조세재정연구원 원장, 이영범 건축공간연구원 원장, 박찬수 과학기술정책연구원 부원장, 조판기 국토연구원 부원장, 이순태 한국법제연구원 부원장, 이상돈 한국직업능력연구원 부원장 등 관계자 15여 명이 참석했다.
협약 내용은 ▲늘봄프로그램 공동 개발 및 운영 ▲강사 인력은행(인력풀) 구축 ▲기관별 늘봄프로그램 홍보 및 희망 학교 연결(매칭) 지원 등이다.
이번 협약으로 세종시교육청을 포함한 총 7개의 기관은 지역사회와 협력하여 세종 늘봄프로그램 운영 체계를 구축하고, 양질의 늘봄프로그램을 제공하게 된다.
또, 6개의 국책연구기관은 기관별 전문성을 활용해 교육청-국책연구기관 연계형 늘봄프로그램을 개발하고, 새로운 협력 분야를 꾸준히 모색해 공교육의 신뢰도를 높여갈 계획이다.
이영 한국조세재정연구원 원장은 “세종시교육청과 함께 초등학교 1학년~2학년 아이들을 위한 기관 연계 늘봄프로그램 공동 개발과 강사 인력은행 구축 등을 진행하게 되어 매우 기쁘다.”며,
“세종시 학생들이 다양하고 우수한 늘봄프로그램을 경험하며 더욱 창의적이고 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원하겠다.”고 말했다.
최교진 교육감은 “앞으로 세종시교육청은 학생 한 명 한 명이 배움 속에서 자신의 잠재력을 키우고 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 국책연구기관, 지역사회 등과 꾸준히 협력해나가겠다.”라고 말했다.
한편, 협약을 계기로 세종시교육청은 2025년 1월부터 현장 교사와 국책연구기관 업무 담당자로 이루어진 업무전담팀(TF)을 구성해 공동 개발을 추진하는 등 체계적인 준비 과정을 거쳐, 2025년 7월부터 기관 연계 늘봄프로그램을 시범 운영할 방침이다.
