고건 대통령 권한대행과 한덕수 대통령 권한대행, 한덕수 총리가 뚝심을 발휘하고 있다. 전북은 '대통령 권한대행'의 고장이다. 전북은 왜 항상 '대행'만 해야 할까? 옛날부터 전북엔 그러한 회의감과 자조감이 있어왔다. 큰 인물이 나오지 않는다는 거다. 권한대행이란 말 그대로 누군가의 '권한'을 '대행'하는 것이다. DJ는 항상 총재 '권한대행'을 만들었다. 원래 전북은 소석 이철승의 텃밭이었다. 하지만 DJ가 소석을 대체하고 말았다,

고건 다음엔 정동영이었다. 하지만 유시민이 주축이 된 영남 친노계는 정동영을 난도질 했다. 고의로 선거운동을 하지 않았다는 말도 돌았다. 정동영이 될 바엔 차라리 이명박이 되는 게 낫다고, 고건을 한방에 후려갈긴 건 노무현이었다. 정동영을 여러 갈래에서 난도질 한 건 친노계, 문재인이 집권하고 나선 전북 군산에서만 일자리 몇 만개 가까이가 날아갔다. 과장이 아니다. GM 대우와 현대중공업이 동시에 문ᄋᅠᆯ 닫았다. 전북에서 가장 큰 두 대기업 사업장이 동시에 폐쇄되면서 하청업체 직원들, 일용직 노동자 그리고 생산단지 근처에서 먹고 사는 자영업자들 포함하면 몇 만개의 일자리가 날아갔다.
그럼에도 불구하고 전북 지역 정치인들은 민주당과 문재인에게 분노를 표출하지 않는다, '시장원리'에 따른 결과라는 것이다.그 말이 맞을 수도 있다. 만약에 문재인과 민주당이 적극 나섰다면 상황이 달라졌을 수도 있다. 실제로 정부가 나서서 중재를 통해 회생시킨 사업장들이 많다. 사실은 문재인이 잘 알고 있을 것이다.
어쨌든, 지금은 한덕수 권한대행이 자유를 지키겠다고 고군분투하고 있다.애처로울 정도다. 민주당이 한덕수 대행을 향해 탄핵하겠다고 으름장 놓는 것을 보면 이런 생각이 든다. 만약에 한덕수 대행이 전남 출신이면 그렇게 할 수 있을까 싶다. 민주당은 전북으로부터 몰표를 받으면서 전북을 만만하게 보는 경향이 있다. 새만금사업도 잼버리도 심지어 신공항도 제대로 된 것 없다. 그때마다 보수 정당 탓을 한다. 사실은 그렇지 않다, 민주당 탓일 수도 있다.
