이랜드가 운영하는 대구의 이월드가 오는 12월 20일, 대표 캐릭터 ‘비비’와 ‘포포’로 꾸며진 눈썰매장 ‘스노우월드’를 개장한다고 밝혔다.
‘스노우월드’는 가족 단위 방문객을 위해 다양한 겨울 놀이 시설을 갖추고 있다. 130m 길이의 대형 슬로프와 유아용 회전썰매, 눈놀이터, 눈사람 만들기 대회 등으로 구성되어 있어 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 겨울 놀이터로 자리매김할 예정이다.
또한, 방문객들은 달고나 뽑기 체험을 통해 경품을 받을 수 있는 이벤트에 참여할 수 있으며, 한강라면, 롱츄러스, 타코야끼, 닭꼬치, 물어묵, 소떡소떡 등 다양한 먹거리를 즐길 수 있다.
스노우월드 곳곳에는 이월드의 대표 캐릭터인 ‘비비’와 ‘포포’와 함께 기념 사진을 찍을 수 있는 포토존도 마련되어 있어, 방문객들에게 특별한 추억을 선사할 예정이다.
스노우월드의 개장 일정은 기상 상황에 따라 변동될 수 있으며, 자세한 정보는 이월드 공식 홈페이지를 통해 확인할 수 있다.
이월드 관계자는 “스노우월드는 130m 규모의 슬로프에서 스릴 넘치는 눈썰매를 체험할 수 있는 이월드의 대표 겨울 콘텐츠”라며, “유아 고객을 위한 다양한 놀거리와 풍성한 먹거리를 준비했으니 많은 관심 부탁드린다”고 전했다.
한편, 이월드는 12월 한 달 동안 ‘산타의 미라클 프레젠트’, ‘미라클토이스토어’, ‘산타 정류장’ 등 다양한 크리스마스 공연을 선보이며, 12월 24일 오후 8시에는 크리스마스 이브 특별 불꽃쇼가 진행될 예정이다.
Eland's theme park EWorld opens ‘Snow World’ for winter fun
EWorld in Daegu, operated by Eland, has announced that it will open Snow World, a snow sledding area decorated with its iconic characters Bibi and Popo, on 20 December.
Snow World is equipped with a variety of winter play facilities for families. It will be a winter playground for the whole family, with a large 130-metre-long slope, toddler carousel, snow playground, snowman building contest and more.
Visitors can also take part in events where they can win prizes through a sweet potato picking experience, and enjoy a variety of food items such as Hangang ramen, longchurros, takoyaki, chicken skewers, mulmuk, and sotteok sotteok.
There will also be photo zones throughout the snow world where visitors can take commemorative photos with EWorld's signature characters, Bibi and Popo, to create special memories.
The opening schedule of Snow World is subject to change depending on weather conditions, and more information can be found on the official website.
‘Snow World is our signature winter content where guests can experience the thrill of snow sledding on a 130-metre slope,’ said an official from EWorld. ’We have also prepared a variety of activities for toddlers and plenty of food and drink.’
Throughout the month of December, EWorld will also be hosting a variety of Christmas performances, including Santa's Miracle Present, Miracle Toy Store, Santa's Stop, and a special Christmas Eve fireworks show on 24 December at 8pm.
