[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시가 2024년 임업·산림 공익직접지불금 1차분 지급을 완료했다고 23일 밝혔다.
시는 산림청 예산 확보에 따라 2024년 총 지급액 6억4700만원 중 6억3300만원에 대해 1차분 지급을 지난 16일 완료했다고 밝혔다.
또 시는 오는 2025년 상반기 산림청 예산 교부일정에 따라 25년 상반기에 2차분 1400만원 지급까지 완료할 예정이다.
임업·산림 공익직접지불금은 지난 2022년부터 시행해 임업인의 낮은 임가소득을 보전하고 산림의 경제적·공익적 가치의 지속적인 향상을 위해 지급하고 있다.
세부적으로는 임산물생산업 직불금과 육림업 직불금으로 구분되며 지난 2019년4월 1일부터 2022년 9월 30일까지 임업경영체 등록을 완료한 임업인에게 지급되는 직불금이다.
임산물생산업 직불금은 임산물의 연간 판매금액이 120만원 이상인 임업인 또는 4500만원 이상인 농업법인이 대상이다.
육림업 직불금은 산림경영계획 인가사항에 맞게 조림·숲가꾸기 등 육림업에서 1년 이상 종사한 임업인 또는 농업법인에 직불금을 지급하는 제도이다.
