[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 지난 9월 공개모집을 통해 구성된 여성친화도시 시민참여단 5기 30여명이 참석한 워크숍을 23일 시청 대회의실에서 개최했다.

이날 워크숍은 1부 여성친화도시의 개념과 지정 현황에 대한 주제강의에 이어 2부 여성친화도시 김해와 시민참여단 역할에 대한 자유로운 조별 토론과 의견 교류 후 각자 소감을 나누고 각오를 다졌다.

기존 강의식 교육에서 벗어나 퍼실리테이터 5명을 초빙해 조별 토론으로 참여자 모두가 적극적으로 의견을 나누며 역량을 강화했을 뿐만 아니라 화합과 결속을 다졌다.

한 참석자는 “나와 내 가족이 살고 있는 이 도시에서 누구나 평등하고 어디서나 안전하기 위해 시민참여단으로서 어떤 역할을 해야 할지 함께 고민하는 매우 유익한 시간이었다”고 말했다.

시 관계자는 “여성친화도시 조성사업의 민관 협력 파트너로서 시민참여단의 다양하고 적극적인 활동을 기대한다”며 “시민참여단과 함께 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 여성친화도시 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 시민참여단은 여성친화도시 조성을 위한 정책, 공간 등 모니터링 성인지적 관점의 생활 속 성별 불균형요소 발굴 및 개선의견 제시 역량강화교육 및 회의 참여 여성친화도시 홍보 활동 등 여성친화적 지역문화 확산을 위한 홍보대사 역할을 수행한다.
