충남 서산시가 시민들에게 쾌적한 생활환경을 제공하기 위해 올해 상수도, 하수도, 지하수 등 3개 분야에서 10여 개의 사업을 적극적으로 추진한다고 밝혔다.
서산시는 상수도 분야에서 지방상수도 현대화 사업 ,단수 대응 송수가압장 추가 설치 ,대수용가 스마트 관망 개선 사업 등을 통해 깨끗한 수돗물을 안정적으로 공급할 계획이다.
특히, 2020년부터 시작된 지방상수도 현대화 사업은 노후 급배수관 교체와 블록 단위의 상수관망 유지관리 시스템 도입을 통해 수돗물 공급의 실시간 감시 시스템을 구축하는 데 중점을 두고 있다. 이 사업에는 총 136억 원이 투입되며, 올해 성과보증 과정을 거쳐 내년 2월에 마무리될 예정이다.
또한, 지난해 11월 발생한 단수를 계기로 고산 송수가압장을 1개소 추가 설치하고 차리 송수가압장을 신설하여 이중화를 강화할 방침이다. 수석배수지 상수도 복선화 사업도 추진하여 비상 상황에서도 안정적인 수돗물 공급을 보장할 예정이다.
