브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차는 오는 11일 캐스퍼 일렉트릭에 아웃도어 테마 디자인을 입힌 ‘캐스퍼 일렉트릭 크로스’를 출시한다고 10일밝혔다.
‘캐스퍼 일렉트릭 크로스’는 기존 캐스퍼 일렉트릭의 디자인 정체성은 유지하면서 아웃도어 환경을 즐기는 고객의 입맛에 맞춰 튼튼하고 강인한(러기드, Rugged) 매력을 입힌 모델이다.
전면부는 캐스퍼 일렉트릭 크로스만의 전용 디자인을 적용한 ‘크로스 라디에이터 그릴’과 ‘반광 그레이 메탈릭 스키드 플레이트’가 어우러졌으며, 프로젝션 타입의 Full LED 헤드램프를 기본으로 탑재했다.
측면부 역시 크로스 전용 디자인의 17인치 알로이 휠과 사이드 몰딩이 적용돼 스포티함을 한층 강화했고, 오프로드 감성을 원하는 소비자의 취향을 고려해 루프랙을 기본 적용했다.
후면부의 새롭게 디자인된 LED 리어 콤비 램프는 픽셀 그래픽의 리어 범퍼와 함께 캐스퍼 일렉트릭 크로스의 아이코닉함과 미래지향적인 이미지를 강조한다.
