더불어민주당 정일영 의원(국회 기획재정위원회, 예산결산특별위원회)이 극우·보수 성향의 유튜브 10개를 분석한 자료에 따르면 최근 두 달(12월, 1월) 동안 이들의 슈퍼챗 총수입이 6억을 넘는 것으로 나타났다.
유튜버로 극우·보수 성향의 유튜브 10개 중 6개의 슈퍼챗 수입은 12.3 비상계엄 이후 윤석열 체포영장 집행이 이루어진 1월까지 상승한 것으로 드러났다. 이 중 가장 많은 구독자 수(약 162만명)을 보유한 A채널의 작년 11월 슈퍼챗 수입은 5,908만원으로 12월 1억2,283만원, 올해 1월 1억5,850만원으로 증가했다.
약 52.1만 구독자를 보유한 B채널의 경우, 작년 11월 2,034만원이던 슈퍼챗 수입이 12월 4,559만원으로 약 2.3배 증가하더니 올해 1월 6,614만원으로 늘었다.
특히, 10개 채널 중 2개 채널은 이른바 ‘2030극우·보수 청년 결집’을 목표로 하는 유튜브로 이들의 수퍼챗 수입은 한달 사이에 약 2~3배 이상 증가했다.
