2025 포터 II 일렉트릭은 기존 고객의 목소리를 반영해 △급속 충전시간 단축 △1회 충전 주행가능거리 향상 △배터리 지상고 개선 △충전구 조명 적용 등 실용성과 편의성을 모두 끌어올린 것이 특징이다.
현대차는 포터 II 일렉트릭 고객의 주요 불만족 사항으로 꼽히던 충전속도 개선을 위해, 고전압 케이블 와이어링 두께를 키워 충전 전류량을 증대시킴으로써 배터리 용량 10%에서 80%까지 기존 47분이 걸리던 급속 충전속도를 32분까지 대폭 단축시켰다.(100kW 급속 충전 기준)
포터 II 일렉트릭에 적용된 60.4kWh 리튬 이온 고전압 배터리는 기존 모델 대비 에너지 밀도를 향상시키고, 경량화한 신규 배터리 셀을 적용해 6km 증대된 217km의 1회 충전 주행가능거리를 확보했다.
