이번 협약식에는 정동영 의원 및 김기태 경남도당 산청·함양·거창·합천 지역위원장 그리고 최호림 산청군의원, 김홍섭 거창군의원, 신미정 거창군의원, 서영재 함양군의원, 김복곤 산청군 산청읍 협의회장, 박해철 함양군협의회장, 유덕권 산청·함양·거창·합천 지역위 운영위원, 강동화 전북도의원, 박선전 전주시의원이 참석했다.
이날 협약식에서는 전북 전주와 경남 산청·함양·거창·합천 주요 현안을 공유하고 지원 방안을 논의하는 것은 물론 양 지역위원회 간의 상호 지역구 방문 등 교류사업 추진에 대한 향후 계획을 협의했다.
