세종시교육청 교육정책과 교육 과정을 배우기 위한 선진지 견학이 20일 있었다.
최교진 교육감은 이날 시교육청에서 몽골 울란바토르시의회 의원 등의 방문을 받고 교육협력 방안을 논의했다
이번 교육협력 방안은 공주대 사범대학 국어교육과에서 추진하는 글로벌 교원 양성 사업의 일환으로 마련됐다.
특히 대표단 방문은 우수한 교육정책과 환경으로 출범한지 10여년 만에 한국의 교육을 선도하는 세종시교육청의 교육정책과 시행 과정을 배우기(벤치마킹)를 희망함에 따라 추진됐다.
이들은 모두가 특별해지는 세종교육 주요정책에 대한 홍보 영상 시청과 교사 연수 체계, 학생 상담활동, 특수교육 정책과 교육재정 등에 대한 질의응답 시간을 통해 세종교육 정책의 이해도를 높이는 시간을 가졌다.
이후 진로교육원 내 설치된 체험실을 방문하여 실질적인 진로교육 활동도 경험하는 시간을 가졌다.
몽골 대표단은 “세종교육의 우수 교육정책을 학습할 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이었다.”며“앞으로도 지속적인 교류와 협력으로 몽골 교육 발전에 큰 도움이 되고 친선을 지속적으로 이어가는 관계가 되길 희망한다.”고 말했다.
최교진 교육감은 “세종교육청이 추진하는 사업이나 정책들이 몽골 학생들에게 도움이 될 수 있기를 바란다.“라고 말했다.
