충남 서산시는 오는 31일부터 청년의 생활 및 여가 여건을 개선하기 위한 캠핑용품과 생활공구 무상대여 사업을 시작한다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 충남도민 참여예산 제안 사업 중 하나로, 청년들의 욕구와 최신 트렌드를 반영하여 설계되었다.
대상은 18세부터 39세까지의 서산시 거주 또는 활동 중인 청년으로, 대여 가능한 물품은 캠핑용품과 생활공구 두 가지 분야로 나뉜다.
청년들은 텐트, 접이식 화로대, 캠핑용 냉·난방기 등 총 11종의 캠핑용품과 전동드릴, 밀차, 사다리 등 8종의 생활공구를 무상으로 대여받을 수 있다.
대여 신청은 서산청년마당(번화1로 19)에서 원하는 물품의 대여 가능 여부를 확인한 후, 대여 일시를 확정하고 평일 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 직접 방문하여 진행된다.
모든 물품의 대여 기간은 최대 7일로 제한되며, 자세한 사항은 서산시 누리집을 통해 확인하거나 서산청년마당에 전화로 문의하면 된다.
이완섭 서산시장은 “이번 사업을 통해 경제적 부담으로 쉽게 사용하지 못했던 캠핑용품과 공구들을 활용해 보시길 바란다”라며, “사업 반응에 따라 수혜 대상을 확대할 계획도 검토하겠다”라고 말했다.
시는 또한 청년의 활동과 자립을 지원하기 위해 매년 청년정책 시행계획을 수립하고 있으며, 올해는 12개 부서를 통해 청년정책 4개 분야·35개 사업을 223억 원 규모로 추진하고 있다.
