양주시가 왕실사찰 회암사지의 세계 유산적 가치와 역사적 의미를 널리기 알리기 위해 ‘2025년 지역국가유산교육 활성화 사업’의 운영을 시작한다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 국가유산청이 주관하는 공모 지원사업으로 올해는 ‘모두의 세계유산으로 피어나는 왕실사찰 양주 회암사지!’를 주제로 한다.
시는 지난 2024년 사업의 우수성을 인정받아 ‘지역 국가유산 교육 활성화 우수사업’으로 선정되며 국가유산청장상을 수상한 바 있다.
또한, 올해에도 공모에 선정되는 쾌거를 이루며 5년 연속 프로그램을 운영하게 됐다.
