부여군, ‘2025 지역활력타운’ 공모 최종 선정

충남 부여군이 정부가 추진하는 ‘2025년도 지역활력타운 조성사업’에 최종 선정됐다. 국토교통부 등 8개 중앙부처가 협업하는 이 공모는 지방의 인구 정착과 생활 여건 개선을 위한 전략사업이다.

이번 선정으로 부여군은 규암면 오수리 아름마을지구 일원에 총 268억 원을 투입해 ‘근로자 행복타운’을 본격 조성한다. 전체 부지 1만3,772㎡에 '근로자 안심스테이, 통합지원센터, 국민체육센터' 등 주거와 복지를 아우르는 복합 인프라가 들어선다.

핵심 시설인 ‘근로자 안심스테이’는 1~2인 가구에 특화된 임대주택 100호를 공급해, 농공단지 종사자와 외지 청년의 안정적인 지역 정착을 지원한다. 단순한 주거공간을 넘어, 삶의 기반을 다지는 출발점이 될 전망이다.

함께 조성되는 ‘근로자 통합지원센터’는 교육실, 북카페, 공유오피스 등을 갖춘 복합 공간으로, 입주 청년과 근로자의 역량 강화와 정착 지원을 전담한다. 이곳에서는 청년 창업을 위한 신사업창업사관학교, 생활 밀착형 일상돌봄서비스 등 부처 연계 프로그램도 함께 운영된다.

지역활력타운은 주거·생활 인프라·문화서비스를 통합한 복합 정주거점으로, 국토부·행안부·문체부 등 8개 부처가 공동 추진한다. 올해는 전국 10개 지자체가 선정됐으며, 부여군도 그 명단에 이름을 올렸다.
