이날 광복회는 ”국가보훈부는 내년도 순국선열 애국지사 기금 예산을 확정하면서 광복회에 주어야 할 토지 임대료를 윤석열 정부 기간 내내 3년째 동결을 시도하며, 광복회에 대한 ‘보복’을 계속하고 있다.“고 밝혔다.
