남양주시,상하수도 체납요금 특별정리 기간 운영

이달 15일 기준, 시에 2개월 이상 체납 중인 상하수도요금은 총 7억 7,740만 원이며, 이 중 100만 원 이상 고액체납이 3억 8,478만 원으로 전체 체납액의 49.5%를 차지하고 있다.

 

시는 특별징수반을 구성해 2개월 이상 체납자를 대상으로 유선전화, 문자, 단수예고문 통지를 통해 납부를 유도할 계획이다.

 

특히, 100만 원 이상 고액체납자에게는 별도의 고액전담징수반을 편성해 독촉.압류공문을 발송하고 현장에 직접 방문하는 등 적극적으로 징수조치를 위할 예정이다.

 

이장호 상하수도관리센터소장은 “앞으로도 매월 정례적으로 적극적인 징수활동을 펼쳐 요금체납액을 최소화하고, 재정 안정화를 통해 시민들에게 깨끗하고 안정적인 수돗물을 제공할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 밝혔다.
