동국대 WISE캠퍼스 지역산업 연계형 대학 특성화학과 혁신지원사업단(4MulaOne사업단, 단장 박성범 교수)은 지난 4일 교내 에너지공학관 캡스톤디자인실에서 2025학년도 자동차소재부품공학전공 신입생 장학금 수여식을 열고, 신입생 전원에게 등록금 100%에 해당하는 장학금을 전달했다.
이번 장학금 지원은 경상북도와 경주시가 후원하고 있는 지역산업 연계형 대학 특성화학과 혁신지원사업의 일환으로 마련됐다. 사업단은 신입생들이 전문화된 자동차 소재·부품 교육과정을 이수해 향후 지역 주력 산업의 핵심 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 이번 장학금을 지원했다.
4MulaOne사업단 박성범 단장은 “이번 장학금 수여를 계기로 학생들이 지역 산업에 꼭 필요한 인재로 거듭나길 기대한다”며 “교육과정뿐만 아니라 교육환경 전반을 혁신해 실무 중심의 인재 양성에 힘쓸 것”이라고 말했다.
4MulaOne사업단은 지난 2021년 7월부터 2025년 12월까지 경상북도와 경주시, 학교가 총 26억 원을 투입해 자동차소재부품공학전공을 중심으로 한 특성화학과 혁신지원 사업을 운영하고 있다. ‘지역 자동차소재부품산업을 선도할 진취적인 실무 인재 양성’을 목표로 △실무형 △문제해결형 △미래친화형 △융합형 인재 양성을 위한 다양한 교육 프로그램과 인프라 개선 사업을 전개 중이다.
동국대 WISE캠퍼스는 이번 장학금 수여를 계기로 지역 산업 맞춤형 인재 양성과 산학협력 생태계 활성화를 더욱 강화할 방침이다.

Dongguk University WISE Campus will provide full tuition support to all new students in the automotive industry specialized major in order to foster talents linked to regional industries.
The Dongguk University WISE Campus Regional Industry Linked University Specialized Chemical Engineering Department Innovation Support Group (4MulaOne Group, Director Professor Park Seong-beom) held a scholarship award ceremony for new students in the Automotive Materials and Components Engineering major in 2025 on the 4th in the Capstone Design Room of the Energy Engineering Building on campus, and presented scholarships equivalent to 100% of the tuition to all new students.
This scholarship support was prepared as part of the Regional Industry Linked University Specialized Chemical Engineering Department Innovation Support Group sponsored by Gyeongsangbuk-do and Gyeongju City. The group supported this scholarship to help new students complete specialized automotive materials and components education courses and grow into key talents in regional key industries in the future.
Park Seong-beom, head of the 4MulaOne division, said, “We hope that this scholarship award will help students grow into talents essential to the local industry,” and added, “We will strive to foster practical talents by innovating not only the curriculum but also the entire educational environment.”
From July 2021 to December 2025, the 4MulaOne division has been operating a specialized chemistry and innovation support project centered on the automotive materials and components engineering major with a total investment of 2.6 billion won by Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongju City, and schools. With the goal of ‘nurturing enterprising practical talents who will lead the local automotive materials and components industry,’ various educational programs and infrastructure improvement projects are being carried out to foster practical, problem-solving, future-friendly, and convergent talents.
Dongguk University WISE Campus plans to further strengthen the nurturing of talents tailored to the local industry and the revitalization of the industry-academia cooperation ecosystem through this scholarship award.
