(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 10일, 정보센터 대회의실에서 ‘2025년 소통하며 공감하는 학교시설 개방 활성화 토론회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 토론회에서는 학교시설 개방을 통해 시민 건강 증진과 생활체육 활성화에 기여할 수 있는 다양한 방안이 논의됐다.
특히, 교육청과 지자체 간 거버넌스 구축, 사용료 감면, 인천 시민 우선 이용 근거 마련, 이용자 시민의식 제고 등의 필요성이 제기됐다.
또, 학생들의 생활체육 시설 이용 확대를 위한 인식 개선과 지역사회 및 체육회와의 협력 강화 방안도 함께 논의됐다.
참석자들은 학교시설과 생활체육 시설이 학생과 지역 주민 모두에게 효율적으로 활용될 수 있도록 다양한 협력 방안을 마련해야 한다고 강조했다.
도성훈 교육감은 “학교시설 개방은 단순한 공간 공유를 넘어 지역사회와 함께 건강한 미래를 만드는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “이번 토론회에서 나온 의견을 바탕으로 학교시설 개방을 활성화하고 지역 주민들과의 협력을 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

또한, 인천시교육청이 지난 10일, 제7기 고등학교 학생자치네트워크 소속 학생 100여 명과 함께 ‘교육감과 함께하는 토크콘서트’를 운영했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 행사는 학생자치네트워크 정기회의의 일환으로, 교육감이 관내 고등학교 학생자치회 회장단과 직접 만나 학생자치 활성화와 인천교육 정책에 대해 자유롭게 소통하는 자리로 마련됐다.
토크콘서트에서는 진로·진학 프로그램 확대, 심리·정신건강 지원, 학생회 주관 읽걷쓰 운영 방향, 미래 인천교육의 비전, 학교 내 학생회의 역할 등을 주제로 학생들의 질문과 교육감의 답변이 오가며 화기애애한 분위기 속에 진행됐다.
한 참석 학생은 “평소에 느꼈던 현실적인 고민을 교육감님께 직접 전달하고 진심 어린 답변을 들을 수 있어 뜻깊은 시간이었다”고 소감을 전했다.
