[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 한국남동발전은 한국전기안전공사, 한전산업개발과 진주 한국남동발전 본사에서 감사 및 청렴 분야 협력을 위한 3자 업무협약을 체결했다고 18일 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 공공부문 청렴성과 감사 전문성 강화를 위해 마련됐으며, 정부 정책 방향과 국민 눈높이에 부응하는 선제적 감사체계 구축을 목표로 진행됐다.
협약식에는 남동발전 백상원 상임감사위원, 전기안전공사 허정환 상임감사, 한전산업개발 박일권 상임감사를 비롯한 3개 기관 감사조직 주요 인사들이 참석했다.
이들은 이번 협약을 통해 전력·안전·환경 분야 감사역량을 상호 보완하고, 감사 인프라 개선 및 청렴·윤리 문화 확산을 위한 협력 체계를 강화키로 협의했다.
또 각 기관은 보유한 감사 우수사례를 공유하고 제도 개선 방안을 논의하고 전문 인력의 교차 지원을 통해 합동·교차 감사체계를 구축할 방침이다.
백상원 한국남동발전 상임감사위원은 “복잡해진 경영환경 속에서 감사의 역할이 더욱 막중해졌다”며“기관 간 협력을 통해 무사고·친환경 전력 생산에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
