금산역사문화박물관, '2025년 특별전시' 선보여

충남 금산역사문화박물관이 오는 7월 1일부터 9월 28일까지 약 3개월간 2025년 특별전시를 선보인다. 

박물관 2층 특별전시실과 1층 상설전시실 일부 공간에서 열리는 이번 특별전은 성인과 어린이를 위한 두 가지 전시로 구성되어, 과거와 현재를 아우르는 문화체험의 장이 될 전망이다.

첫 번째 전시는 금산 지역민의 기억 속 문화공간이었던 ‘금산 중앙극장’을 재조명하는 ‘어디서 만날까요? 금산 중앙극장’이다. 1959년 개관해 2022년 철거되기까지 금산 중심에서 수많은 이들의 만남과 이야기가 이어졌던 극장을 당시 모습 그대로 재현해 선보인다. 전시기획팀은 사진, 기록물, 인터뷰 등 다양한 사료를 바탕으로 영화관 내부를 고증했으며, 방문객이 실제 극장에 들어선 듯한 몰입감을 느낄 수 있도록 세심한 연출을 더했다.

두 번째 전시 ‘나도 전시할래요! 어린이 학예연구사 모여라’는 어린이 참여형 체험 프로그램으로 기획됐다. 전시 과정을 단순히 관람하는 데 그치지 않고, 어린이들이 직접 자신의 소장품을 선별하고 전시기획자의 역할을 체험해보는 것이 핵심이다. 박물관 학예연구사의 업무와 전시 제작 과정을 소개함으로써, 어린이들의 창의성과 박물관에 대한 흥미를 동시에 자극할 수 있도록 구성됐다.
