천연물 건강기능식품 전문기업 ㈜뉴트라코어가 전북 임실군 오수 제2농공단지에 75억 원을 투입해 건립한 건강기능식품 공장 준공식을 갖고 본격적인 가동 체제로 전환했다.
3일 임실공장 현지에서 성황리에 열린 준공식에는 전북자치도 김종훈 경제부지사와 심 민 임실군수를 비롯 장종민 임실군의회 의장ㆍ조옥선 임실군 로컬JOB센터장 및 최범락 뉴트라코어 대표 등 약 80여 명이 참석해 기업 유치와 산업 육성 성과를 축하했다.
㈜뉴트라코어는 이 공장에서 체지방 개선에 도움을 주는 와사비잎 추출물 등 3종의 원료인 천연물 소재 생산설비에서 식약처로부터 개별 인정받은 기능성 원료 생산 및 완제품을 생산할 계획이다.
임실공장은 총면적 6,612㎡ 규모로 건강기능식품 원료의 추출·농축 공정을 갖춘 전문 생산시설이다.
앞으로 도내 농가와 계약재배를 통해 청정 원료를 안정적으로 수급, 생산한 기능성 원료를 자가공장 생산을 통해 건강기능식품 시장의 경쟁력과 소재의 차별성을 확보한 뒤 해외시장 진출을 계획하고 있다.
