경남농협·합천군, 농촌왕진버스 운행 통한 선제적 폭염 대응

[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 경남농협과 합천군은 17일 합천군 묘산면 복합문화센터에서 관내 농업인, 주민들 300여 명을 대상으로 농촌 지역 의료 공백을 메우기 위해 찾아가는 의료 서비스 ‘농촌 왕진버스’를 실시했다.

‘농촌왕진버스’는 병의원, 약국 등 의료 시설이 부족한 농촌 지역 주민들에게 의료, 구강검사, 운동처방 및 교육, 검안 및 돋보기 지원 등 종합 의료 서비스를 제공하는 사업이다.

이날 행사에는 김윤철 합천군수, 정영철 경남농협 경영부본부장, 도기문 농협합천군지부장, 나상정 합천농협 조합장이 참석했으며, 보건의료통합봉사회 의료진은 양·한방 의료봉사를, 대한의료봉사회에서 구강검사 및 치과진료, 봄안경원에서는 검안·돋보기 서비스를 제공했다. 

특히 이번 농촌 왕진버스에서는 여름철 폭염을 대비하여 폭염 행동요령, 온열질환 발생 시 응급처치 방법 등을 주민들에게 안내하고 여름철 보약 들을 제공하는 등 농촌 주민 온열질환 발생 대비를 위한 활동을 진행했다.

정영철 경남농협 경영본부장은 “농촌왕진버스가 무더위 속 건강도 지키고 오늘 하루 쉬어갈 수 있는 기회가 되었길 바란다.”며 “경남농협은 앞으로도 행복한 농촌을 만들기 위해 다양한 사회공헌 활동과 복지사업을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
