충남 공주시(시장 최원철)가 최근 쏟아진 집중호우로 인해 광범위한 피해가 발생함에 따라 전 행정력을 총동원해 복구 작업에 속도를 내고 있다.
공주시 재난안전대책본부에 따르면, 지난 7월 16일부터 19일까지 공주 전역에는 평균 301mm의 폭우가 쏟아졌으며, 특히 유구면과 신풍면 지역에는 각각 352mm, 351mm에 달하는 강수량이 기록되며 피해가 집중됐다.
이번 집중호우로 인한 인명피해는 총 4명으로 집계됐다. 정안면 지역에서 주민 2명이 다쳤고, 이장 1명과 시청 직원 1명도 부상을 입어 현재 치료 중이다.
