[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군은 20일 긴급 확대 간부회의를 연 뒤 전 부서 공무원을 피해지역으로 긴급 투입해 피해 현황 조사와 응급 복구, 대민지원 활동을 실시했다.

앞서 김윤철 합천군수는 19일 새벽부터 직접 피해 현장을 누비며 침수된 주택과 유실된 농경지를 점검하고 주민들을 위로하면서, 정확한 피해 파악과 신속한 복구, 추가 피해 예방을 강력히 지시했다. 

이어 20일 회의에서도 “피해지역을 빠짐없이 조사하고 즉시 복구에 나서라”고 강조했다.

이에 따라 합천군은 전 부서와 읍·면 공무원이 담당 지역으로 출동해 마을 곳곳을 직접 돌며 피해 현황을 세밀하게 조사하고 있다. 

동시에 응급 복구가 필요한 지역에는 즉각적인 인력과 장비를 투입해 토사 제거, 배수 지원, 임시 주거와 생필품 제공 등 대민지원에 구슬땀을 흘리고 있다.

군은 비상근무 체제를 계속 유지하면서 피해 집계와 복구를 병행하고 있으며, 자원봉사자 모집 등 추가 지원 방안도 적극 모색하고 있다. 

김윤철 군수는 “현장에서 군민들이 하루빨리 일상으로 돌아갈 수 있도록 최선을 다해 달라”고 거듭 당부했다.
