충남 부여군 백제기와문화관이 오는 7월 30일부터 8월 2일까지 서울 코엑스에서 개최되는 ‘2025 코리아빌드위크’ 건축박람회에 참가해, 백제 기와문화를 현대 건축에 접목한 다양한 시제품과 문화 콘텐츠를 선보인다.
이번 전시에서 핵심적으로 소개될 콘텐츠는 정암리 와요지에서 출토된 백제 기와 문양을 응용해 자체 개발한 보도블록 2종이다. 해당 제품들은 디자인 등록까지 완료된 작품으로, 고대 백제의 조형미를 현대적 감각으로 재해석한 결과물이다. 백제기와문화관 측은 "전통문양이 단순한 유산을 넘어 실생활에서 활용 가능한 디자인 자산이 될 수 있음을 이번 전시를 통해 보여줄 계획"이라고 밝혔다.
