【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구의회가 지역 청소년들을 의회로 초청해 직접 정책을 제안받는 시간을 가졌다.
지난 7일 동구의회가 동구 청소년문화의집 아름드리 청소년참여기구 소속 청소년 27명을 대상으로 의회 견학 프로그램을 진행했다.
이번 행사는 청소년들이 지방의회의 기능과 역할을 이해하고 지역사회 일원으로서 정책 형성과정에 참여할 수 있도록 마련됐다.
지역 청소년들은 동구의회 본회의장을 방문해 지방의회 구조와 운영에 대한 설명을 들었다.
청소년들은 의원 자격으로 직접 준비한 정책을 제안하는 시간을 가지기도 했다.
동구 청소년 진로·직업 체험박람회 개최, 청소년문화의집 이용 혼란에 대한 대책 마련, 청소년 통합 정보 홍보 플랫폼 구축 및 활성화 방안 등이 제안됐다.
정인숙 의장은 "청소년들이 직접 의회를 찾아 지역 문제를 고민하고 의견을 낸 것은 매우 의미 있는 일"이라고 말했다.
이어 "동구의회는 미래 세대의 목소리를 적극 수렴해 실질적인 정책에 반영하고, 청소년이 존중받는 지역사회를 만들겠다"고 덧붙였다.

She added, "The Dong-gu Council will actively listen to the voices of future generations and incorporate them into practical policies, creating a community where youth are respected."
