【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=DGIST가 주최하는 제14차 연례 비즈니스 모델 개발 세미나가 오는 12월 대구에서 열린다.
DGIST는 12월 11일부터 12일까지, 15일부터 17일까지 총 5일간 대구연구개발특구본부 3층 세미나실에서 세미나를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
오픈 이노베이션 아카데미가 주최하고 연구개발특구진흥재단 대구연구개발특구본부가 주관하는 이번 행사는 DGIST와 달성군청이 후원한다. 강의는 매일 오전 9시 30분부터 오후 5시까지 집중적으로 진행된다.
이 세미나는 윤진효 주임교수가 14년 전 시작한 이래 국내 비즈니스 모델 연구와 교육 확산에 크게 기여해왔다. 현재 서울대, 고려대, 연세대, KAIST, UNIST, 포스텍 등 주요 대학 강좌로 확대되며 학문적 토대를 구축했다.
올해 세미나의 특별함은 참가자 전원에게 제공되는 교재에 있다. 윤 교수가 집필 중인 Cambridge University Press 단행본 초안 약 900쪽이 무료로 배포된다.
독일 호엔하임대 강의에도 활용될 예정인 이 교재는 세계적 표준 교재로 출간을 앞두고 있어 그 가치가 더욱 높다.
강의는 윤 교수가 개발한 3단계 비즈니스 모델 개발 방법론을 중심으로 전개된다. 1단계에서는 육하원칙을 기반으로 모델을 도출하고, 2단계에서는 기업 혁신, 엔지니어, 소비자, 사회혁신 등 네 가지 관점을 통해 모델을 발전시킨다. 3단계에서는 'ABCD 혁신 방법론'을 활용해 근본적 진화를 모색한다. 해외 대학에서도 채택된 검증된 방법론을 직접 학습할 기회다.
세미나에는 각 분야 전문가들이 대거 참여한다. 서울대 윤주현 교수, 이화여대 이상돈 교수, DGIST 안흥주 교수, 상지대 박경배 교수, KISTI 정의섭 박사, 특허법인 태백 주완종 변리사가 강단에 선다.
이들은 디자인 씽킹, 지속가능 환경, 수학적 접근, 시스템 다이나믹스, 특허 전략 등 폭넓은 주제를 다룰 예정이다. DGIST 조효비 박사는 실습을 총괄 지도한다.

The 14th annual Business Model Development Seminar, hosted by DGIST, will be held in Daegu this December.
DGIST announced that the seminar will be held for a total of five days, from December 11th to 12th and 15th to 17th, in the seminar room on the third floor of the Daegu Research and Development Innopolis Headquarters.
Hosted by the Open Innovation Academy and organized by the Daegu Research and Development Innopolis Headquarters of the Research and Development Innopolis Promotion Foundation, the event is sponsored by DGIST and Dalseong County Office. Lectures will be held intensively every day from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Since its inception 14 years ago by Professor Jin-hyo Yoon, this seminar has significantly contributed to the spread of business model research and education in Korea. It has now expanded into courses at major universities, including Seoul National University, Korea University, Yonsei University, KAIST, UNIST, and POSTECH, establishing an academic foundation.
What makes this year's seminar unique is the textbook provided to all participants. Professor Yoon is currently writing a draft of a book, approximately 900 pages, for Cambridge University Press, and will be distributed free of charge.
This textbook, which will also be used in lectures at the University of Hohenheim in Germany, is poised for publication as a global standard textbook, making it even more valuable.
The lecture will focus on Professor Yoon's three-stage business model development methodology. In the first stage, a model is developed based on the Five Ws and One Hs. In the second stage, the model is developed through four perspectives: corporate innovation, engineering, consumer, and social innovation. In the third stage, the "ABCD Innovation Methodology" is utilized to explore fundamental evolution. This is an opportunity to learn firsthand about this proven methodology, adopted by universities abroad.
The seminar will feature a diverse array of experts from various fields. Speakers include Professor Yoon Joo-hyun of Seoul National University, Professor Lee Sang-don of Ewha Womans University, Professor Ahn Heung-joo of DGIST, Professor Park Kyung-bae of Sangji University, Dr. Jeong Ui-seop of KISTI, and patent attorney Joo Wan-jong of Taebaek Patent Law Firm.
They will cover a wide range of topics, including design thinking, sustainable environments, mathematical approaches, system dynamics, and patent strategy. Dr. Cho Hyo-bi of DGIST will supervise the practicum.
