[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] '세상에서 가장 아름다운 결혼식'이란 주제로 경남도와 창원한마음병원이 장애인 5쌍 부부를 위한 ‘장애인 백년해로 합동결혼식’을 개최했다.
지난 29일 오후 6시 그랜드 머큐어 앰배서더 창원호텔 그랜드볼룸에서 김동우 경상남도장애인단체총연합회 회장의 주례로 진행됐다.
이날 김영선 경남도 복지여성국장을 비롯해 하충식 창원한마음병원 의장, 최경화 창원한마음병원 이사장, 조청래 NH농협은행경남본부 본부장, 허종구 BNK경남은행 부행장, 강호열 남창원농협 조합장 등이 참석해 후원을 아끼지 않았다.
특히 이번 결혼식은 지난 6월 경남도청에서 개최된 ‘경남 장애인 가족의 아름다운 동행, 백년해로’ 추진을 위한 업무협약의 후속 사업으로, 창원한마음병원이 주빈 측으로 결혼식 전반을 전액 지원했다.
그랜드 머큐어 앰배서더 창원호텔에서 예식을 진행하고, 신랑, 신부에게는 호텔 1박 숙박권, 하객들에게는 예식 만찬을 제공하고 신랑·신부가 특별한 하루를 온전히 누릴 수 있도록 세심히 배려했다.
박완수 도지사는 영상 축사를 통해 “사랑과 믿음으로 부부의 결실을 맺게 된 신랑, 신부님께 축하의 박수와 응원을 보낸다”라며, “장애인이 차별없이 존중받는 행복한 미래를 설계할 수 있도록 관심과 노력을 아끼지 않겠다”라고 전했다.
NH농협은행경남본부와 남창원농협에서는 가전제품을, BNK경남은행에서는 경주 1박 신혼여행을 후원했다.
또한, 경상남도장애인단체총연합회에서는 도내 장애인부부 추천을 경상남도장애인가족지원에서는 결혼식 이후 부부상담 등 정서․역량지원 프로그램을 연계할 예정이다.
최경화 창원한마음병원 이사장은 “칠월칠석 뜻깊은 절기에 장애인 합동결혼식을 마련하여 첫발을 내딛는 이들에게 뜻깊은 시간을 선물하고자 했다”라며, “민관이 협력하여 장애인이 살기 좋은 사회 만들기에 앞장서겠다”라고 전했다.
한편, 경남도 장애인복지과 직원들도 신혼여행 경비 100만 원을 기부하는 등 작은 정성을 보태며 행사의 의미를 더했다.
