[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 제6회 푸른 하늘의 날(9월 7일)을 맞아 9월 1일부터 10일까지 ‘미세먼지 줄이기 실천 인증샷 이벤트’를 진행한다.
지난 2019년 12월 19일, 제74차 유엔총회에서 우리나라가 제안하여 결의안이 채택되었으며, 이후 국가기념일로 지정돼 올해로 6주년을 맞았다.
시는 매년 푸른 하늘의 날을 기념하여 포럼, 캠페인, 플로깅, 퀴즈 이벤트 등 다양한 행사를 진행하였으며, 올해는 푸른 하늘을 계속 지켜갈 수 있는 실천의 중요성과 관심을 모으기 위해 미세먼지 줄이기 실천 인증샷 이벤트를 진행한다.
참여 방법은 창원시민 누구나 시 홈페이지 ‘시민참여(온라인 신청접수)’에 접속해 본인의 ▲1회용품 줄이기 ▲대중교통 이용하기 ▲대기전력 줄이기 ▲실내 적정온도 유지(냉방 26℃ 이상) 등 ‘미세먼지 줄이기 실천’ 모습을 사진으로 올리면 된다. 추첨을 통해 총 200명에게 모바일 누비전을 지급할 예정이다.
박선희 기후대기과장은 “푸른 하늘은 미래 세대를 위한 소중한 자산이며, 이를 지키는 첫걸음은 생활 속 작은 실천에서 시작된다”며 “이번 이벤트 참여로 깨끗한 대기환경을 만드는 일에 동참하는 기회가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
