[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시가 '제18회 치매극복의 날'(9월 21일)을 기념해 오는 8일부터 26일까지 시민 참여형 행사를 개최하며 치매에 대한 인식 개선에 나선다.
이번 행사는 개인과 가족의 문제를 넘어 사회 전체가 함께 해결해야 할 과제인 치매에 대한 공감대를 넓히기 위해 마련됐다.

9일 성산한빛교회를 시작으로, 12일 경남교육청 창원도서관, 16일과 17일 성산·의창노인복지관, 22일부터 24일까지는 가음정시장과 반송시장에서 '찾아가는 치매인식개선 캠페인'을 펼친다. 현장에서는 치매 예방교육과 조기검진, 다양한 교구체험 활동이 진행될 예정이다.
